No. 8 Orphanage in Moscow provides orphaned children a home and training to assist their transition to independent living; our support provides field trips to enable them to personally experience their tremendous cultural heritage.

Peninsula School Feeding Association aims to reduce short-term hunger and increase attendance of school children, with daily lunches for children who may otherwise not have a meal that day.

Tanzania

Beekeeping in Mwika Village provides a traditional foodstuff and generates income for local families from the sale of honey. It also helps conserve forest resources; bees need a healthy environment to produce honey.

Gijedabung Primary School accommodates 630 students with support it receives from Sanctuary Swala Camp and donations.

Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project (KPAP) is improving the working conditions of the porters on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Serengeti Cheetah Project at Sanctuary Kusini is helping ensure the sustainability of this precious species by engaging guests in a 'cheetah watch' and submitting sightings of cheetah they have photographed while on game drives.

Braille Without Borders educates and trains blind and sight impaired children, and tears down ancient prejudices against the blind in one of the poorest regions of China.

Bwindi Community Hospital near Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp provides health care to rural communities living adjacent to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, among some of the poorest people in the world.

Plants of the Okavango Delta at Sanctuary Chief's Camp inventories rare plants of the delta area, catalogues local uses, produces a field guide and seed collections, and supplies botanic gardens worldwide with specimens.
