We are proud to share that Forbes has featured A&K Philanthropy (AKP) in an article highlighting our mission and the dedication of our team.

The piece, titled “What Is Responsible Travel and Sustainable Travel, Really?,” underscores the importance of building long-term, meaningful projects in the communities our guests visit.

“There are a lot of people paying lip service to [responsible travel], but Abercrombie & Kent has been setting an example for decades,” Forbes contributor Rona Berg wrote. “Before ‘responsible,’ ‘sustainable,’ ‘conscious,’ ‘ethical’ travel were a blink in anyone’s eye, A&K founder Geoffrey Kent understood that travel can have a positive impact on entire communities, build bridges of understanding and be a force for good.”

While our work has never been about recognition, this kind of spotlight helps amplify our mission, broaden awareness of our impact, and spark new conversations around giving, travel and community-driven change.

This recognition is a shared achievement belonging to our entire community —comprising the A&K Travel Group, donors, partners, and beneficiaries — who have trusted us and supported our efforts to use travel as a means to improve lives around the world.
